Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This desert is simply marvelous. This desert is simply marvelous. It's cheap and easy and the whole family loves it. When I make it I use only sugar-free Jello and Cool Whip Free. I've tried it with Strawberry (wonderful) Peach (not so good) Mixed Berry (so-so) and Lime (very good). There is one trick to getting equal layers of each and that is to make it in straight sided dishes. If the dish has a curve of any kind you will get less of the bottom layer. The more curve, the less bottom layer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very nice looking and delicious, however, it didn't set up very well. This was very nice looking and delicious, however, it didn't set up very well. I couldn't get all the Jell-O to dissolve in such a small amount of water. My 3 year old was stirring for me and I guess it didn't get mixed fast enough. I'll have to do the mixing next time, or adjust the hot water to ice water ratio. Thanks for the recipes Kraft, and for the latest magazine!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've made this twice now. I've made this twice now. It really tastes good but I can't get it to layer like it's supposed to. Not sure why - I made sure I followed the directions exactly. I'll try doing it a little different next time. Either way I'll continue to make it b/c it's good.

Very simple to make but looked and tasted like it took alot more effort. I plan on using different kinds of Jell-O to make lots of mini servings for the large family that I have for Easter dinner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was nice and easy to make, and you can do your own changes. It was nice and easy to make, and you can do your own changes. I used homemade strawberry-pureed (with a splash of rum) sorbet instead of ice cubes. And Lemon-lime soda instead of water. Worked out great, it adds a little kick to it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very light and really good. This was very light and really good. It reminded me of what an ice deli (or shaved ice) tastes like. Mine did not separate like in the picture but it still tasted just fine.
