What You Need

pkg. (8 squares) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided

1/2

cup butter or margarine, divided

1/3

cup water

pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

cups powdered sugar

Make It

LINE 8-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Microwave 4 chocolate squares, 6 Tbsp. butter and water in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted; stir. Add dry pudding mix; stir 2 min.

ADD powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, stirring after each addition until well blended. Press onto bottom of prepared pan.

MICROWAVE remaining chocolate squares and butter in large microwaveable bowl 1-1/2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Spread over pudding mixture. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.

Just finished making this for the first time and I followed the directions exactly as written. Although the fudge tastes delicious, it does not look at smooth and consistent as it does in the picture. I used a wooden spoon to mix my ingredients. Next time I would try a hand mixer to see if the ingredients would incorporate more smoothly.

I made this fudge as a treat for my coworkers one day, and although some of them moaned that they were on a diet, they still took more than one piece. :) Today, one of my coworkers was eating a piece of fudge that someone else had made (different recipe). She said, "It's not like yours. The ones you made melted in my mouth!" So yeah, this recipe was a big hit. :)

This is the only recipe I have ever made and gotten repeat requests for. It is what I have become known for bringing to work parties. Everyone loves it and cannot believe it comes from the microwave. Great recipe! So easy and simple to make. Love it!

I was looking for a simple recipe for my daughter to make for Daddy on Valentine's Day. This fudge was SO easy, and it is delicious! We prefer the taste of nuts in our fudge, so we added Pecan chips to the top layer of chocolate. YUM!

This is so easy and always a hit. Chocoholic or not people eat it up! I looked through a few of the one-star reviews, those people must have had an error in their measurement or not mixed well. I don't even cook (lucky to have a cooking hubby!) and I've never screwed it up.

I make this fudge every year for Christmas. I end up making several batches more than planned because I always get requests for more! My nephews especially love it! My husband and brother aren't even really "fudge fans" and can't stop eating it.

As far as fudge goes, this was only average. Texture was not that of "real" fudge. Go for the Fantasy Fudge recipe, MUCH better!

It wasw smooth creamy and glossy with a shine that made it look good and it tastes good.
