Rated 2 out of 5 by from So, I read the reviews first and then decided to start with one batch. So, I read the reviews first and then decided to start with one batch. It did not turn out well. After 9 minutes, they did not get flatter, as in the picture, and then after cooling were hard as a rock. Batch number two, I flattened them with a fork as you would for peanut butter cookies. I only baked for SIX minutes, cooled on the cookie sheet for five minutes, and then moved to a wire rack to cool for fifteen minutes. The second batch was much better. I would recommend using less sugar though. Perhaps only 1/2 to 3/4 cup. They are very sweet and I didn't even add the powdered sugar to them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The jello makes these cookies an amazingly bright color. The jello makes these cookies an amazingly bright color. (I used cherry.) The jello flavor is subtle, adding just a hint of it's flavor. I found the 1" ball to make a very small cookie so made the next batches a bit larger. Quick and easy to put together. Don't overcook. They shouldn't get brown. I baked on stoneware and they were perfect. Overall good flavor and really cute when color is needed, like for holidays.

I would highly recommend using this for parties. I used all of the correct ingredients and thought they would turn out like the other reviews but they didn't! They were delicious!

I had a great experience with this recipe...I used airbake cookie sheets and baked for exactly 9 minutes. With cherry jello the cookies were very light, fluffy and I got lots of compliments. I made a huge batch for a cookie exchange and it was very easy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I don't think these turned out well at all. I don't think these turned out well at all. The cookies stayed in a ball shape, and got too brown on the bottom before even fully cooked. I was really disappointed in the recipe, won't make again, and will probably throw most of these away.
