So, I read the reviews first and then decided to start with one batch. It did not turn out well. After 9 minutes, they did not get flatter, as in the picture, and then after cooling were hard as a rock. Batch number two, I flattened them with a fork as you would for peanut butter cookies. I only baked for SIX minutes, cooled on the cookie sheet for five minutes, and then moved to a wire rack to cool for fifteen minutes. The second batch was much better. I would recommend using less sugar though. Perhaps only 1/2 to 3/4 cup. They are very sweet and I didn't even add the powdered sugar to them.
