Kids really go for this fun dessert. While they're cutting out their favorite shapes, you can prepare a fruit salad to offer each person as they enjoy their JELL-O® JIGGLERS® treat.

Creative Leftovers

The JELL-O® JIGGLERS® scraps remaining in the pan after the cutouts are done can be refrigerated in a tightly covered container and then tossed together with cut-up fruit for a colorful dessert the whole family will love.

Substitute your favorite fruit juice for the water. Bring juice just to boil before stirring into the gelatin.

I used to make Jello Jigglers for my children and neighbor kids 20 years ago! Late this morning I remembered to make a dessert for a funeral luncheon. With little time, I saw 2 boxes of jello in the cabinet. After finding the recipe online, made them, oiled a pan, poured in the liquid and froze for 30 min. They were ready for the cookie cutters. They always make a colorful & tasty treat for children after any meal.

I HAVE A GREAT TIP!!! I followed the recipe... using 4 small boxes and 2 1/2 cups of cold water. I sprayed a glass 13x9 inch pan and poured it in... and then PUT IT INTO THE FREEZER! I checked on it after 20 minutes and was pleased to find that it was almost set. I left it in for another 20 minutes and it was READY! So, no need to wait hours and hours... after 40 minutes it is perfect and ready to be cut into jigglers! Also, I used two boxes of raspberry and two of lime and it made a delicious flavor!

Over 30 years ago when my children were small we made these but they weren't even called Jello Jigglers then. We called them Jello Squares. The neighbor kisds thought we had a neat treat. My grandkids enjoy them now. Thanx for the ideas of using ice trays and dipping in cream.
