  • Cut oranges crosswise in half. Use paring knife to cut around edge of each orange half to loosen fruit; remove fruit. Reserve for snacking or another use. Place orange shells, cut sides up, in muffin pan cups.
  • Add boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. (Do not add cold water.) Spoon gelatin into orange shells.
  • Refrigerate 3 hours until firm. Carefully cut each filled orange cup into 3 wedges. Insert a paper sail into gelatin in each wedge to resemble sailboat.

Oranges are sold ripe and ready to eat. Store them at room temperature for up to 1 day or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

How to Use the Removed Fruit

Refrigerate the removed orange pulp up to 24 hours. Use for snacking or to prepare your favorite fruit smoothie.
