If you've added the water to the dry JELL-O Gelatin and cannot get the gelatin to completely dissolve, place the gelatin mixture in a microwaveable bowl and microwave on HIGH 30 sec. This should bring up the temperature of the water to a point where it is hot enough to completely dissolve the gelatin crystals.
Prepared gelatin flavors can be refrigerated up to 24 hours before cutting into cubes and using as directed.
If you can only find a 10-oz. can of evaporated milk, measure out 2/3 cup for use in preparing this recipe. Store leftover milk in tightly covered container in refrigerator for other uses, such as to flavor coffee, smoothies or other beverages.
