What You Need

White decorating icing

JET-PUFFED Marshmallows

OREO Cookies

Decorating gel

Pretzel sticks

Red string licorice

Make It

SPREAD icing on end of 1 marshmallow; place icing-side down on top of cookie. Spread icing on both ends of another marshmallow and stack it on the first. Top with a third marshmallow to make the snowman.

USE decorating gel to draw the eyes, nose and mouth on top marshmallow.

INSERT 2 pretzels into middle marshmallow of snowman for the arms. Cut a 4-inch length of licorice and tie around neck for a scarf.

Special Extra

Insert JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallow onto end of the each pretzel stick for mittens and/or make earmuffs using an additional small red licorice piece and 2 additional miniature marshmallows.

I used a recipe very similar to this with a graham cracker for it to stand on and dipped the marshmallow ends in melted chocolate to make them stand up...tasted like smore's and stayed together for the most part

Did this for a class project...Pretzel sticks in the middle of the snowman helped keep him up! Also try a different icing to hold him together..Some icings worked better than others..The class loved the snowman and there was no mess to clean up!

Like the other comments,could not make the snowman stay together. Tried using pretzels in the middle of marshmallows to hold them together,but that didn't help Looked cute until they fell over.Any suggestions?

The Oreo crumbs ended up on the white marshmallows and made the snowmen very dirty looking-too dirty for my table. (I had planned to use them at each person's placesetting.) Also, they fell apart. I did break the pretzels into smaller pieces for the arms which helped. The marshmellows were not level so the snowmen looked very lopsided. I would not make these again.

couldn't keep it standing up, no such luck. pretzels seemed to big to use for arms. Was a good idea...just didn't work well

This recipe was not very kid frendly. The marshmallows kept falling over. We tried inserting pretzels to help them stand but even that did not work. Very frusterating for children and adults. The few that did work were very cute.
