  • Stir 1-1/4 cups of the boiling water into each flavor dry gelatin in separate bowls at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir 3 Tbsp. of the sour cream into dissolved gelatin in each bowl.
  • Refrigerate 1-1/2 hours or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves a definite impression). Drop by large spoonfuls into 8-cup mold sprayed with cooking spray, alternating flavors.
  • Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold onto serving plate. Store leftover gelatin in refrigerator.

How to Unmold Gelatin

Dip mold in warm water about 15 seconds. Gently pull gelatin from around edge with moist fingers. Place moistened serving plate on top of mold. Invert mold and plate; holding mold and plate together, shake slightly to loosen. Gently remove mold and center gelatin on plate.

Received excellent compliments by all at the dinner party -- even the children loved it! Used 6 different flavors of Jell-o (Lemon, Lime, Orange, Strawberry, Grape & Blueberry) and put it into a crystal bowl--it was so pretty to look at and so good to eat!
