Key Lime Smoothie

What You Need

1/2

cup boiling water

pkg. (0.3 oz.) JELL-O Lime Flavor Sugar Free Gelatin

Ice cubes

1/2

cup cold water

1-1/2

cups thawed COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping

Make It

ADD boiling water to dry gelatin mix in blender; cover, venting lid. Blend on low speed 1 min. or until gelatin is completely dissolved.

ADD enough ice to cold water to measure 1-1/2 cups. Add to blender with COOL WHIP; blend on medium speed until thickened and well blended.

SERVE immediately.

My family loved this, even my husband, who does not normally like lime-flavored stuff. I used frozen cool whip and added extra ice. Will definitely make again and try other flavors.

This was good. However, it was a little too much work, in my mind, for just a simple smoothie.

I just made this smoothie. It is very good.I added 1/2 cup more ice than what was called for and I used frozen cool whip. It turned out very good. Next time I make it I will use a different flavor of jello.

It tastes alot like the pudding mix, very artificial. It was ok. I guess when I think "smoothie", I think refreshing, but this didn't quite hit the spot, though it was decent.

Wonderful and satisfying. Also try it with regularly jelled jello and frozen whipped cream. Nice and cool. A nice substitute for ice cream.
