  • Beat cream cheese and mayo in medium bowl until blended. Stir in VELVEETA and peppers; spread onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray. Top with combined cracker crumbs and butter.
  • Bake 20 min. or until heated through.
  • Top with onions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is delicious. This is delicious. I do alter the recipe a bit. I use regular shredded cheddar cheese instead of velveeta, as I do not like velveeta very much. I also usually make it without the ritz and green onion on top. It is good either way, I just prefer it without the toppings. We prefer to eat it with corn chips.

I made this for a football game and because there were kids there, I only used 2.5 jalapeno peppers & It was really mild. I think when I make it again, I may add maybe 3.5 peppers for more pepper taste. That said, I couldn't believe how this really did taste like a jalapeno popper!!

I ALWAYS get asked for the recipe. bring copies when you take it anywhere!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this dip is AMAZING! this dip is AMAZING! I have made it a few times. once I only had 2 jalapenos & it worked out just fine! Also, I usually added about 10 more ritz crackers. Just depends on the size dish i use to serve it in. EVERYONE WENT BONKERS OVER IT!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delicious. Delicious. Will make a few changes next time. Plan to melt the Velveeta and add to the softened cream cheese (or soften them together) prior to mixing ingredients together and putting in oven. May add an extra jalapeno or two.

If there was an option to pick no stars, I would have done that. Despite the amount of jalapenos added, it was not even that spicy. We will not be making this again.
