  • Mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1-1/2 cups water with red drink mix in 2-cup liquid measuring cup or small bowl; pour into ice cube tray. Repeat with remaining drink mixes, using additional ice cube trays as needed.
  • Freeze several hours or until solid.
  • Add ice cubes to 10-oz. glasses just before serving. Fill with soda.

Note

Look for inexpensive ice cube trays in discount stores.

How to Use Leftover Drink Mixes

Store leftover drink mixes in separate airtight containers at room temperature. Sprinkle over scoops of vanilla ice cream, or use to flavor your favorite fruit smoothie.

    I LOVE KOOL AID!!! We drink it EVERY DAY. My refrigerator must have a pitcher of Kool Aid every day. My favorite is the PURPLE packet, grape mmmmmmm delicious. We have been drinking Kool Aid since I was a kid and I'm presently 54 and still drinking it! It always brings me memories of my childhood. And now these recipes........ yummy!! Thank you Kool Aid.
