The recipe calls for "Old World Sauce..." with no specific amount to put in or what the sauce even is. My decision was to purchase a spaghetti sauce containg Parmesan & Romano. I then just poured some (probably about 1/2 cup) into the chicken mixture with the drained macaroni. It was just okay, nice & creamy when it came out of the oven but dry when you heat it up as a leftover. I beleive I will try it again without the spaghetti sauce. Husband wasn't impressed with recipe at all.

Part of the directions are actually just to make the macaroni and cheese from the directions on the packaging. The old world sauce refers to the cheese sauce included in the mac n cheese package that you mix in the butter/milk/seasoning packet mixture. You are making the macaroni as directed on the packaging, adding tomato, basil and parmesan. Top with the bread crumbs provided in the package and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese......Easy as that!

Maybe they're like me and are not familiar with "the Seasoning Mix". Is the Old World ingredient a jarred marinara sauce or what? Is that what they refer to as the Seasoning Mix? Somebody help me so I can make it!

I added a (small) bit of chopped bacon to the noodles & a few french fried onions to the topping. Just enough for the extra flavoring. My husband does not often have seconds, yet this time he went back for thirds!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was so good. This was so good. I followed the recipe as written and it came out perfect, so I'm not sure what the confusion was about the recipe with the other reviewers. It doesn't mention anything about old world sauce!!! And Kraft the home style Mac & cheese is your best yet.

It worked really well with the chicken and turned out great!
