  • Heat broiler.
  • Combine tomatoes, cheese, garlic, 2 Tbsp. oil and basil.
  • Brush remaining oil evenly onto both sides of bread slices. Place in single layer on baking sheet.
  • Broil, 6 inches from heat, 2 min. on each side or until edges are golden brown. Top each toast slice with about 1 Tbsp. tomato mixture.

Substitute

Substitute 1 tsp. dried basil leaves for the fresh basil leaves.

Use Your Grill

Toast bread slices on cool portion of grill instead of under the broiler.

    I don't know how my review can be so different from the others! I love tomatoes and bruschetta. I used 2 tomatoes and less than half of the parmesan (or the whole bowl would have been parmesan!) and it was just so-so. I'll be trying a different recipe next time!

    Loved it, I toasted my own french bread with the broiler, brushed with 1 stick butter and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Broil each side for 4min.
