Boneless pork shoulder and pineapple tidbits cook to sweet, tender perfection in this crowd-pleasing slow-cooker stew.

What You Need

2-1/2
lb.  boneless pork shoulder, cut into bite-size pieces
1-1/2
lb.  butternut squash, peeled, cut into 1-inch cubes
1
can   (8 oz.) pineapple tidbits, undrained
1
 onion, chopped
1
pkg.  (16.7 oz.) KRAFT RECIPE MAKERS Hickory BBQ Beef
1
pkg.   (6 oz.) baby spinach leaves

Make It

PLACE meat, squash, pineapple and onions in slow cooker.

TOP with Simmer Sauce; cover.

COOK on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours).

15 Min. Before Serving

REMOVE liquid with ladle from slow cooker; set aside.

STIR in Finishing Sauce and spinach. Add some of the reserved liquid to desired consistency. Cook, covered, on HIGH 15 min.

Serving Suggestion
Serve over hot cooked grits, rice, noodles or polenta. Garnish with sliced green onions.
Substitute
Substitute peeled sweet potatoes for the squash.
