What You Need

jar  (16 oz.) red salsa
2-1/2
cups water, divided
1
pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken, crushed
2
lb.  ground lamb
1
 onion, finely chopped
2
 eggs
1/2
cup chopped fresh mint leaves
1/2
cup  chopped cilantro
2
cloves garlic, minced
1
cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar & Monterey Jack Cheeses
4
cups hot cooked mashed potatoes

Make It

COMBINE salsa and 2 cups of the water in large saucepan. Bring to boil.

MEANWHILE, mix stuffing mix, meat, onions, eggs, mint, cilantro, garlic and remaining 1/2 cup water in large bowl. Shape into 24 balls, about 1/4 cup each. Drop meatballs gently into boiling salsa mixture; cover.

REDUCE heat to medium. Simmer 18 to 20 min. or until meatballs are cooked through (165°F).

STIR cheese into mashed potatoes just before serving. Top potatoes with hot meatballs.

How to Make Sauce Thicker
Remove meatballs from pan and keep warm. Bring sauce to a boil until it reaches desired consistency.
