I have had this recipe in my recipe box for years and I finally got to make it. The dressing was so good but even with the peppers (I didn't deseed them) it wasn't that spicy. My only problem with it was the bacon, I thought it overpowered all the other flavors so I wouldn't add it again, that's why I just gave it 3 stars.
I have made this recipe several times. I toned it down a bit with only one serrano pepper and 3 dashes of hot sauce so my 5 year old twins would not be overwhelmed. It was mildly spicy -- they love it and the rest of the family loved it when I made it for a cookout. For a time saver, I used a 16 ounce package of cole slaw mix which worked well.
I liked it but my family didn't. Just up to the individuals taste.
