  • Combine berries and sugar. Refrigerate until ready to use. Beat Neufchatel in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Gradually beat in milk. Add dry pudding mix; mix well. Blend in 1-1/2 cups COOL WHIP; spoon half into 2-1/2-qt. bowl.
  • Top with cake, berries and remaining Neufchatel mixture. Refrigerate 4 hours.
  • Melt chocolate; drizzle over trifle. Top with remaining COOL WHIP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My family loved this recipe. My family loved this recipe. I made it with angel food cake because I couldn't find pound cake at the time. For those who thought the texture and taste of the filling wasn't sweet enough, or tasted too much like cream cheese, did you let it sit for 4 hours in the fridge before eating it? If not, that's why. I tried it when it was first made and the flavors hadn't blended together yet, and it tasted almost salty. But after sitting in the fridge it was perfect. It gives the cream cheese and pudding flavors a chance to really meld together. I'm making it again today with pound cake, just to see which way we like it better.

I followed other reviewers suggestions and added a little suger (about 4 T.) and vanilla (about 1 t.) to the cream layers to give it a little more flavor/sweetness without going over the top. My husband commented on how light it tasted - not heavy at all! I also used extra strawberries and pound cake and am glad I did, otherwise the ratio would have been too cream-layer heavy. We loved the crunch of the chocolate-drizzle on top, so next time may add a chocolate drizzle on top of the bottom cream layer. Very easy, very tasty, and looks like it took all day!

I made it first for my family Easter Sunday & it received rave reviews - in fact my niece wants this for her birthday in May! I also made it for a get together of church friends & it was gone in a flash & everyone raved again! The second time I made it I used french vanilla instsnt pudding & I liked it even better. Everyone at the dinner wants the receipe & I told everyone about Kraft foods & the magazine & how I make alot of the receipes & have never been disappointed. I'm so sure about the receipes in Kraft foods I've brought brand new - never tried (by me 1st)to many get togethers and have never been disappointed. Thank you & keep sending the receipes!

I have made this recipe a total of about 8-10 times (actually i think i may have lost count.) And everytime it has been made, I get outstanding results & compliments.. WE LOVE IT! I'm actually getting kinda tired of it because I make it so much. But everyone keeps demanding it! LOL very delicious. not to sweet, perfect balance.... the only change i made to the recipe is that instead of drizzling the chocolate on top, I just use a peeler and kinda shred/ sprinkle it on top and add more strawberries.. YUMMY!

This recipe is the most easiest to make and also can be adapted with a few changes with pudding. I made this for a girls lunch get together and exchanged lemon pudding in place of vanilla and added lemon zest to cheese mixture and to the strawberries mixture I also added lemon zest and 5 Tblsp of Limoncello liquer it was certainly a hit with the girls. This will definetly be on top of my recipe list for the adults,and the original for the children to enjoy. Thanks for the great desserts!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Amazing!!!! I am the world's worst cook and this recipe came out perfect!!!! If you don't want to make/search for pound cake, I used the desert cups you find in the produce or snack section. Another thing, I also recommending substituting the semi-sweet chocolate for something more sweet. For me, it was to bitter, since at times, you bite into chunks of it. But overall it was amazing!!!!!!!! I would definitely make it again and recommend it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would DEFINITELY make this again! I would DEFINITELY make this again! It was very easy to me, it was delicious and everyone loved it. There were a few grumbles when I mentioned it was low fat, but after tasting it everyone agreed that this did not taste like a low fat dessert. I even used sugar free pudding instead of the regular instant and I found frozen pound cake in the freezer section of the grocery store. Thanks Kraft this will definitely stay in my recipe box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was great. This was great. For large parties (30+) I use inexpensive wine glasses and for small parties the single serve trifle bowls. Makes serving sooo much easier. For large parties I make an assortment of strawberry, blueberry, peach, mixed raspberry, banana and pineapple so folks can choose a favortie. I love strawberries, they do not love me. I made several of my favorites. Leftovers aren't as good, but they're for me, not my guests. Yum!
