Okay, so I didn't have enough graham crackers or cream cheese to make this EXACT recipe; so here's my variation...I made a pretzel crust! I used 2 cups of crushed pretzels, 4 tbsp. sugar, and 1 1/2 sticks of melted margarine. I then baked the crust at 350' for about 10 minutes. While the crust cooled...I made my filling. Instead of doing layers, I whisked 8 oz. of sour cream, 1 small Instant Vanilla Pudding (IN POWDER FORM) and 1 tub of thawed cool whip - it makes a cheesecake type filling - YUM!!! Once my crust was cool, I layered with sliced strawberries and then topped with my cheesecake filling. DELICIOUS AND EASY!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a great recipe. It's a great recipe. My husband and kids love it, but if you're having trouble getting it out of the pan, try using parchment paper. Use 2 strips, each the width of the pan. Put one in the pan and make a crease on the edges with the back of a knife. Turn pan and put the second in so all sides of the pan are covered. Again make a crease on the edges, layer recipe in and cook. The paper doesn't burn at this temp and you have handles to lift out the dessert.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Before I made this, I read all the reviews and took the best advice from all. Before I made this, I read all the reviews and took the best advice from all. I doubled the crust and used graham crackers rather than the wafers. I doubled the cream cheese but kept the Cool Whip at 4 ozs. I used smaller pieces of strawberries and blotted them dry before adding to the dish. I had a firm crust, more cheese filling, drier fruit and it was a hit for Easter dinner! Thanks for the recipe and the reviews!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This was no "delight" for me. This was no "delight" for me. If you like pudding on a crust, then this recipe is for you. The cream cheese layer was lost and rendered pretty much taste-less. I've made other recipes from this site which are far superior. We disliked this dessert that much that after the intial serving, the remainder went through the disposal. Extremely disappointing to say the least!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We loved this dessert and very easy to make. We loved this dessert and very easy to make. I used double the crust per others suggestions and made a graham cracker crust instead of the vanilla wafers. It wasn't as crisp of a crust as I like, but my husband said it was good just the way it was. I lightened up using light margarine, low-fat cream cheese, light whipped topping and sugar free vanilla pudding. Excellent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from When I got to the pudding layer what I thought was vanilla pudding was white chocolate. When I got to the pudding layer what I thought was vanilla pudding was white chocolate. Since I had it that far I just used it. Tasted great. Chocolate and strawberries together what could be wrong with that. I also used splenda, and sugar free pudding and cool whip since I am diabetic. Still have to eat small piece but very refreshing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this recipe! I love this recipe!!! You can easily make it low sugar by substituting sugar free, or light ingredients. Also, by adding a hint of lemon or orange zest (grated peelings), you can totally change the flavor for extra variety. The upright strawberries give a beautiful presentation when sliced to serve...great 'company' dessert, little work!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Imade yhis recipe and to my dissapointment it turned out runny. Imade yhis recipe and to my dissapointment it turned out runny. I used a different brand of vanilla pudding instead of the Jello brand which shouldn't of made a difference. It is still good though, but mushy. It looked delicious when I put the pudding on top of the strawberries. I will probably try this again using Jello pudding.
