  • Bring pasta sauce, water and garlic to boil in large skillet. Stir in noodles; cover.
  • Cook on medium-low heat 12 min. or just until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir.
  • Mix ricotta and basil; drop spoonfuls over noodle mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses; cover. Let stand 5 min. until mozzarella is melted.

Special Extra

Cook 1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen Italian-style mixed vegetables as directed on package. Stir into noodle mixture before topping with spoonfuls of the ricotta mixture. Continue as directed.


Substitute BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Cottage Cheese for the ricotta.

Special Extra

Crumble 1/2 lb. Italian sausage into large skillet. Cook 6 min. or until done, stirring occasionally. Stir in pasta sauce, water and garlic; bring to boil. Stir in noodles; continue as directed.

    Delicious as written and versatile enough to add meat or veggies. Love it!

    This is SO good! Very quick, and easy to make - use the 5 cheese Italian Blend by Kraft - it's the best! Used browned ground beef with the garlic, and added the water and spaghetti sauce, then noodles according to directions. My family loved it!

    This is a family favorite. I do add browned ground beef, and I rarely have fresh basil so I use a small amount of dried basil instead and it works out fine.
