Lemon Blossom-OREO Cookie Balls

What You Need

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

pkg. (15.5 oz.) Golden OREO Cookies, finely crushed

tsp. lemon zest

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S White Chocolate, broken into pieces, melted

Tbsp. assorted decorating icings

white nonpareils (about 1/2 tsp.)

Make It

MIX cream cheese, cookie crumbs and zest until well blended.

SHAPE into 40 (1-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min. Dip balls in melted chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan. Fit tubes of icings with star tip; use to pipe small flower onto top of each ball. Gently press nonpareil into center of each.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.

How to Melt Chocolate

Place chocolate in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-1/2 min. or until chocolate is completely melted, stirring every 30 sec.

How to Easily Dip Cookie Balls

To easily coat cookie balls with the melted chocolate, add balls, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use 2 forks to roll balls in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove balls with forks, letting excess chocolate drip back into bowl. Place balls in prepared pan; let stand until chocolate coating is firm.

I think they are great. Easy to make, wonderful presentation. I did change it up a bit. I used half vanilla oreos and half lemon sandwich cream cookies. Its sweet and lemony and delicious! In some of them I hid an M&M. I used the bakers white chocolate and it melted great. I sprinkled them with colored sugars. The dough was easy to roll into balls, nice for the kids to help. These will be a hit at our Easter table.

Made these for a graduation party. Very well received. The only leftovers were the ones we held back! These are easy to make, but take time. They taste like cheesecake balls dipped in white chocolate. We did have to reheat the chocolate to prevent it from being too gloppy, even with two of us working to coat them. We sprinkled ours with colored sugars. It takes time, but worth it.

Made these for a bridal shower favor. They were a big hit and so pretty. I got calls for a week after asking for the recipe. Will definitly make these beautiful treats again.
