What You Need

pkg. (16 oz.) powdered sugar

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/4

cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened

Tbsp. lemon juice

Make It

BEAT sugar, cream cheese, butter and juice with electric mixer on low speed until well blended.

Yummy--I used this on a 2-layer lemon cake and filled the cake with a lemon filling (1 box of Jell-o Lemon flavor instant pudding mixed with 3/4 cup of milk) for Mother's Day and it looked great and tasted even better.

Turned out perfect made exactly as the recipe says. Very light and fluffy. I frosted a 13X9 lemon cake with it and there was extra so I frosted some graham crackers with it. That was good too.

SOOOOOOO Good. I did the same and only added 2 cups of pwrd sugar...we put it on evils food cake.

MADE THIS RECIPE WITH 2 CPS. LESS SUGAR TO LIGHTLY COVER THE TOP OF A SPICE CAKE AND LET IT LIGHTLY FLOW OVER THE SIDES. CAUTION--DO NOT LICK THE SPOON. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STOP. IF THE REMAINDER LASTS LONG ENOUGH, I PLAN TO USE IT AS A DIP FOR THE LITTLE FEET OF GINGERBREAD MEN. THE POOR GUYS WON'T STAND A CHANCE.

I used this recipe to frost a cake for a friend at work. I didn't taste it because I'm not fond of lemon. But my friend really liked it!!! I will use it for her again.

Great recipe! I made it for my father who LOVES lemon cake! It was a hit at his Big 70 Bday party! Have used it for other birtday cakes. My daughters love it without the lemon juice and I use strawberry extract to taste and red food coloring or whatever color they want!
