Size Wise

Balance your food choices throughout the day in order to enjoy a serving of this delicious dessert.

Make it Easy

To make the dessert easier to cut into squares, place chilled dessert in freezer for 1 hour before cutting into squares.

Special Extra

For easy cleanup, line baking pan with foil using this easy method.  Turn pan upside down and fit a piece of foil over top of pan, smoothing corners as needed.  Remove foil.  When you turn the pan over, the foil fits perfectly inside the pan.

Variation

For variety, substitute 1 cup each flour and finely chopped toasted PLANTERS Pecans for the graham crumbs. Mix with sugar and butter as directed. Bake in 350°F oven 10 min. Cool, then use as directed.

Variation

This dessert tastes equally delicious when prepared with PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, your favorite flavor JELL-O Sugar Free Fat Free Instant Pudding and COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I noticed that one reader said that the sugars were to high and it's high in fat. I noticed that one reader said that the sugars were to high and it's high in fat. Each time I've made this I've used reduced fat or fat free cream cheese and I've used sugar free jello or pudding mixes. You can use reduced fat graham crackers for the crust. It can be very low fat and low in calories if you so choose.

The next time I made it, I made the crust, then put it in the fridge for a couple hours, then went back and made the rest. That time, the crust did stayed together perfectly. So my recommendation is to refridgerate the crust for an hour or so first to allow it to set before you add the rest of the ingredients.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This dessert was very good! This dessert was very good! However, the crust did not turn out. The recipe did not call for baking the crust, so when I put the cream cheese layer on, the crust did not stay firm. So, instead, I used Honey Maid Graham Cracker ready made pie crust. The recipe makes two pies. I made this for a group dinner and it was well liked by everyone. To make the Squares, I would bake the crust next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a wonderful dessert! This is a wonderful dessert! I did make a few changes. I used the alternate crust made of flour & toasted pecan added 1/4c. dry lemon jello to the pudding for a more lemony flavor. Folded in 1/4c. dry strawberry jello into the cool whip and decreased the milk to 2 1/2cups to make a firmer lemon pudding layer adding the lemon jello also helps firm up this layer. Very yummy and easy to make!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from this was easy to make, light and delicious; someone in my family said this is her favorite dessert. this was easy to make, light and delicious; someone in my family said this is her favorite dessert. i would suggest in you recipe the wording be changed from 'softened' butter to 'melted' butter for the graham cracker crust. i just mixed in very softened butter the first time i made this recipe and when i tried to spread the cream cheese mixture, it stuck to the graham crackers.

I made this recipe and used strawberry cream cheese instead of plain cream cheese and it was wonderful. I used 12oz.instead of 8oz and added a pkg of lemon jello to the pudding by mixing with 1/2 cup hot water to mix it then 1/2 cup ice cold to cool it before putting it into the pudding.I also decreased the liquid in the pudding by 1/2 cup.It was a big hit at 4th of July BBQ.

Since I couldn't find strawberry cool whip, I decided to switch this up a bit for an Easter get together. First layer of graham cracker crumbs was the same. Next layer I substituted coconut milk for the milk and added coconut sweetened flakes. Then Vanilla pudding and finally CHOCOLATE Cool Whip finished with semi sweet chocolate shavings. An Easter EGG. It was delicious!
