I made this and found it was really good. We didn't care much for the vinegar, tomato paste sauce and think next time I would maybe just use ***** of something soup or stewed tomatoes. I used Italian Seasoning I had on hand. I did fry my chicken to make it brown, removed it then added it again on top. I have a hard time putting raw chicken on top of the potatoes. But the chicken was wonderful and I would make it again.
The recipe looks delicious except for the cheese. I don't know why so many recipes have to have Parmesan cheese included. It absolutely ruins the dish for me because I am highly allergic to it. I know I can make the dish without the cheese but don't know if it will change the consistency or not. Please have more similar recipes without having cheese added!!
