Serve over hot cooked pasta, using about 1/4 cup prepared pesto for every 2 cups of cooked pasta. For a thinner sauce, stir small amount of reserved pasta cooking water into prepared pesto before spooning over pasta.
For a flavorful sandwich spread, mix 1 tsp. prepared pesto with 1 Tbsp. KRAFT Mayo with Olive Oil Reduced Fat Mayonnaise. Or, mix 1/2 cup prepared pesto with a 24-oz. jar of pasta sauce before heating and serving over hot cooked pasta.
For a spicy twist, substitute 1 pkg. (5 oz.) arugula leaves for the baby spinach. Or, substitute 3 cups each tightly packed fresh spinach and arugula for the 6-oz. pkg. of spinach.
How to Store
Store pesto in tightly covered container in refrigerator up to 5 days. Or for longer storage, freeze up to 2 months; thaw in refrigerator before using.
For a delicious pasta salad, mix 1/4 cup each pesto and KRAFT Mayo with Olive Oil Reduced Fat Mayonnaise, then toss with 2 cups of your favorite cooled cooked pasta. For a larger salad, double or triple all ingredients. Stir in halved grape tomatoes and/or chopped seasonal fresh vegetables for added color and flavor.
