Rated 3 out of 5 by from Contrary to the other reviews, this is not how a lobster bisque should taste... Contrary to the other reviews, this is not how a lobster bisque should taste... Don't expect a full bodied, flavorful bisque... this recipe dosn't even call for any spices. This should be called Lobster Cream Soup, not Bisque. I've made it and it was just too heavy and creamy. Bisque should have a definitive flavor and it definitely did NOT.

I work with a special individual that loved this dish a lot and wants to make it again. I decreased the milf to 3/4 c. and only 1/2 a pack of Neufhatel cream cheese: which i than added a small 6oz can of cream of mushroom soup. I also omitted the sherry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My family LOVED THIS BISQUE! My family LOVED THIS BISQUE! But, I added 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 1/8 tsp. Taragon, 1 tsp. garlic powder and pepper, one finely grated carrott, and another tbs. butter. It was so good, even my 4 year old niece ate it all up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe is awesome! This recipe is awesome! I can't believe how well it turned out. I used heavy cream instead of milk but next time I think I will use half milk and half heavy cream. I think I am going to serve the leftovers over some pasta.

The cream cheese makes it rich and creamy. It is very filling so a little goes a long way which makes it economical too.
