Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made these for my daughter's Kindergarten class for Valentine's Day. I made these for my daughter's Kindergarten class for Valentine's Day. I read all the comments before making and thought I would try anyway. I think the problem is the baking time. The first dozen were a little too "done" because I had set the timer for the 21 minutes as it said on the box. When there were 4 minutes left, I took them out and they were just too "done." So, the next batch I only baked for 15 minutes and they were perfect!! I also got 34 cupcakes out of the mix because I used a scoop to fill the cups only half full. It was perfect for me to pipe the Cool Whip on and decorate. I decorated them by putting a Valentine M&M in the middle and sprinkles all around. They were so cute and yummy! I think I'll try lime Jello next month for St. Patrick's Day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For a Weight Watchers version, I prepared the white cake mix with a 12-oz. For a Weight Watchers version, I prepared the white cake mix with a 12-oz. can of diet lemon-lime soda (nothing else! This isn't a joke! It's the moistest cake around!), then mixed in sugar-free jello. I don't like making frosting, so I bought WalMart white frosting in a can. I got 27 small cupcakes out of it for 2 points each! (You can mix a chocolate cake mix with 12-oz. can of diet coke. It's the best! My husband loves it!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was very good, everybody wanted seconds, my son wanted 3rds. This was very good, everybody wanted seconds, my son wanted 3rds. I read all 30 comments, I used one of them . (yellow cake, lime jell-o). It was great for St. Patricks day. Another cook offered her version of frosting( jello pudding mix, 1 c. milk and cool whip). Think I will have to try that too. This recipe is good to mix up , try different flavors. The next time I'll try (pineapple cake mix, orange jell-o).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Liked this recipe, but didn't follow exactly. Liked this recipe, but didn't follow exactly. My 4 year old son doesn't like fruity flavors, so we just used red food coloring in the white cake mix. And I made the frosting I usually do (cool whip, pudding mix & 1 cup of milk). We used foil cupcake liners, which made it very easy to shape them into hearts. My son & my 2 year old daughter decorated w/ kisses, sprinkles & valentines candy. Great activity for them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These were delicious! These were delicious! I made mine with the Funfetti cake mix (made the classic white version w/3 whole eggs instead of 4 whites) and Cherry gelatin mix. I also used fat free whipped topping. The mix had "double the pudding" so the cupcakes were very moist and soft. I will definitely make this again for myself and my 3 year old!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I was very disappointed with this recipe. I was very disappointed with this recipe. I thought it was a clever idea but the heart shape didn't turn out. It just looked like a deformed cupcake. I had to throw out the batch because I was too ashamed to serve them. After making these, I see why Kraft showed the side of the cupcake and not the top -- because it doesn't work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These were perfect! These were perfect!! I made them for my grandaughters birthday party, the children have so much trouble with cake and ice cream, but with the cupcakes and small party themed cup with ice cream they were a real hit! And no time at all to get ready! And the cool whip went over better than ooey gooey buttercream!
