what you need

pt. strawberries

pkg. (13.6 oz.) prepared fat-free pound cake, cut into 12 slices

1-1/3

cups blueberries, divided

tub (12 oz.) COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping, thawed

Make It

SLICE 1 cup of the strawberries; set aside. Halve remaining strawberries; set aside.

LINE bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish with cake slices. Top with sliced strawberries and 1 cup of the blueberries. Spread whipped topping evenly over berries.

PLACE strawberry halves and remaining 1/3 cup blueberries on whipped topping to create a flag design. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This is so easy to make. My family loves this cake and it makes a great presentation (looks like it took time to make). No one turns this down, not even the dieters. My family prefers this with the pound cake over the jello version.

I made this recipe for July 4th to bring to work for my co-workers, (all guys). They loved it. They had no idea it was low fat. I even used angel food cake, which is naturally fat free. It was awesome- definately a keeper.

To make this a little more homemade, I baked a boxed low-fat white cake right in the Pyrex. Also, you can substitute twice as many large raspberries in place of the strawberry halves. - DB

I made this cake for my boyfriend's mother when I first met her, only I used just strawberries and she loved it so much and when I told her it was low fat, she hugged me and said I was a keeper! I am planning to make this cake for 4th of July when all my family and friends come over, it's really such a good cake I might make TWO!!!!

I made this for our 4th of july party and it went in about 5 minutes!! Everyone loved it and asked me for the recipe. I used the fat-free cake and whipped topping so my girlfriends wouldn't feel like they were cheating on their diets!! Definitely a hit!!
