This is so easy to make. My family loves this cake and it makes a great presentation (looks like it took time to make). No one turns this down, not even the dieters. My family prefers this with the pound cake over the jello version.
I made this recipe for July 4th to bring to work for my co-workers, (all guys). They loved it. They had no idea it was low fat. I even used angel food cake, which is naturally fat free. It was awesome- definately a keeper.
To make this a little more homemade, I baked a boxed low-fat white cake right in the Pyrex. Also, you can substitute twice as many large raspberries in place of the strawberry halves. - DB
