Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick and Easy I believe a similar recipe was on the Kraft Mac and Cheese box back in the 70's or 80's. It was my go-to recipe when we got home late from soccer practices. The only difference I can see is that recipe called for a tsp. of yellow mustard, which gave it a little more zip than this one. The kids are grown but it's still a recipe I make now and then.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have been doing this recipe for years. I have been doing this recipe for years. My son loves it. My other son can't have milk products but i use special mac and cheese and add his hotdogs so he eats like everyone else. I introduced this recipe to some of my co workers adn they fell in love with it. the one thing i add to mine (not the kids tho) is hot sauce a dash or two depending on your preference. this is a great week night "fun" meal that the kids can help make and usually have it on the schedule at least 2 times a month (the kids would like it alot more tho )

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SERIOUS? SERIOUS? This made front page? This is a staple in American cooking, isn't it? Mac & Cheese w/cut-up hot dogs? (hated when mom tried to add more nutrition by putting peas in it!) I think 1/2 of my college graduating class ate this daily--cheap, good & filling. I now make this for my kid for a fun, easy meal. I cut-up two hot dogs and put them into the boiling noodles in the last two minutes their cooking time then drain and add the cheese, milk & butter. Easy Cheesey!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I also am very shocked to see this in an email as the main attraction. I also am very shocked to see this in an email as the main attraction. lol People have been making this basic dish for years and adding their own personal touches. I still gave it a high rating because it is SO good and my son loves it. But I would love to meet the person who "took credit" for adding this "recipe" to the site! LOL

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is one of the most unhealthiest things to make. This is one of the most unhealthiest things to make. All of the above are carb nightmares with nitrates added. To make this a healthy choice? Make your own macaroni, a jar of cheddar cheese sauce and ground turkey. Much healthier then this. Plus you can have this made in the same time you would with this recipe.
