It tastes wonderful and the prep is easy and then from there you just have to bake it. It's so simple that I think it would be ideal for a younger person (around 11 or 12) to cook. You can easily add more of the ingredients you like also (myself being a big ham lover). If you have leftovers, they will still taste great if not better than the day before. This is an awesome recipe whether you are: short on time, still new to cooking, or even a seasoned pro. I recommend it to everyone, Happy baking!

I made this with the regular Mac and Cheese (one box) because I didn't have the Deluxe. I put the mix and the milk in with the eggs (I only used 3 because of the one box). I drained the pasta and the broccoli them put back in the pan and added the butter to melt (to help keep it from being dry). Then I mixed all the ingredients together and baked as suggested. Everyone loved it.

My grocery store had quarters of ham, but the ones that were already sliced as lunch meat cost a great deal less than the ones that weren't cut. So I used sliced ham rather than buying an uncut quarter of ham and cubing it. It worked well, but I wonder if we would have gotten more ham flavor in each bit if we'd used cubes instead. It is broccoli-ful, which is fine because my family likes broccoli. Also, I would say that, aside from the cheese and ham, there isn't much "seasoning" flavor, so it's a simple dinner dish.

I found this recipe in one of the Kraft Food magazines under breakfast recipes, but what a great dinner time meal. I always read the reviews and take them to heart. Many said that it was a bit dry and bland, so I added a splash of milk and some seasoning salt with black pepper, a dash of hot pepper, and some garlic salt. I also added some mushrooms (another great suggestion), and a bit more shredded cheese. It was very yummy, and a nice fill you up meal. Great served with crescent rolls. This one's a keeper.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This recipe definitely needs a kick of something - onion, garlic....? This recipe definitely needs a kick of something - onion, garlic....? I don't know. I made it last night and it is sooo bland. I actually added some pepper and salt ahead of time and it is still bland. I've removed it from my recipe box. It looks better than it tastes.

I'm trying to figure out how to make it cheesier. I might leave out some of the macaroni next time. It just wasn't what I thought it would be.
