It tastes wonderful and the prep is easy and then from there you just have to bake it. It's so simple that I think it would be ideal for a younger person (around 11 or 12) to cook. You can easily add more of the ingredients you like also (myself being a big ham lover). If you have leftovers, they will still taste great if not better than the day before. This is an awesome recipe whether you are: short on time, still new to cooking, or even a seasoned pro. I recommend it to everyone, Happy baking!

My grocery store had quarters of ham, but the ones that were already sliced as lunch meat cost a great deal less than the ones that weren't cut. So I used sliced ham rather than buying an uncut quarter of ham and cubing it. It worked well, but I wonder if we would have gotten more ham flavor in each bit if we'd used cubes instead. It is broccoli-ful, which is fine because my family likes broccoli. Also, I would say that, aside from the cheese and ham, there isn't much "seasoning" flavor, so it's a simple dinner dish.

I found this recipe in one of the Kraft Food magazines under breakfast recipes, but what a great dinner time meal. I always read the reviews and take them to heart. Many said that it was a bit dry and bland, so I added a splash of milk and some seasoning salt with black pepper, a dash of hot pepper, and some garlic salt. I also added some mushrooms (another great suggestion), and a bit more shredded cheese. It was very yummy, and a nice fill you up meal. Great served with crescent rolls. This one's a keeper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love to jazz up easy recipes like this one. I love to jazz up easy recipes like this one. I sustituted panchetta for the ham and chopped fresh basil for the broccoli. I also added one clove, finely minced, garlic and one small shallot, finely minced. I also used the shell deluxe mac n cheese. this came out great. My husband was a big fan! Just a note: I had my husband pour the cheese sauce into the eggs, while I beat them, so I didn't have lumps.

I made this with the regular Mac and Cheese (one box) because I didn't have the Deluxe. I put the mix and the milk in with the eggs (I only used 3 because of the one box). I drained the pasta and the broccoli them put back in the pan and added the butter to melt (to help keep it from being dry). Then I mixed all the ingredients together and baked as suggested. Everyone loved it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with this recipe. Very disappointed with this recipe. I even added more cheese than the recipe called for and found it too be very bland and not very cheesy. I did put a breadcrumb topping which was probably the best part, but should have read some of the reviews before preparing it and maybe I could have added some extra zip. Kraft, I think you should revise this recipe.

After reading some reviews, I decided to use this recipe as a foundation and make some changes: I added a Tablespoon of butter to the hot macaroni. I added 1/2 cup of milk to the egg mixture. I added some chopped red bell pepper. I doubled the cheese and stirred in half and topped with the other half. Two teens, my partner and I all gave it thumbs up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My kids made this for "kids make dinner" night. My kids made this for "kids make dinner" night. They had a great time and it was very tasty (we did add our spices). We made 2 pies since our Mac 'n Cheese were 7 oz (calls for 14 oz). Once the MNC was cooked there was no way it would all fit in one pan? Can't wait to make it camping (thanks Synde77 GREAT idea)!!
