These turned out great! The BBQ sauce is the key, I may add a little more next time. These smelled phenomenal while they were baking, primarily due to the BBQ sauce and bacon. The family absolutely loved them. I cooked mine in a 13 x 9 baking dish, and I placed them against the side of the dish to keep the bacon strip from unwrapping (worked perfectly). I served them with homemade mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Whatever you do, do not sub out the BBQ sauce for ketchup, don't do it! Follow the recipe as it is written!
It is just my husband and myself so we were able to freeze some for another time. We thought they were very good and plan to make them many times.
