Maple-Bacon Waffle Bake

Like a little savory with your sweet? This easy waffle bake is layered with bacon and cheddar and topped with a creamy maple syrup sauce.

What You Need

8
 frozen waffles, toasted
8
slices  OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces, cooked
1
cup  KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
6
 eggs
1-1/4
cups  milk
1/4
cup  maple-flavored or pancake syrup

Make It

HEAT oven to 325ºF.

PLACE 4 waffles in 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with bacon, 1/2 cup cheese and remaining waffles.

WHISK eggs, milk and syrup until blended; pour over waffles. Refrigerate 30 min.

BAKE 40 min. or until center is set and top is puffed and golden brown. Top with remaining cheese; bake 5 min. or until cheese is melted.

Substitute
Substitute 1/4 lb. cooked and drained breakfast pork sausage for the bacon.
Special Extra
Garnish with a sprinkle with ground nutmeg or cinnamon.
