These tasted good but I ruined the first batch trying to get the chocolate thinner so it would look better and not so lumpy. The proper way to thin and melt chocolate is in a double boiler, adding vegetable oil, a little at a time, until you get the desired consistency needed. After I figured out how to get the desired consistency, it worked out fairly well and I even topped the marshmallows with cherry pie filling and cream cheese before dipping. That takes a little skill but tastes excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made these with my 6 year old daughter for Valentine's Day. I made these with my 6 year old daughter for Valentine's Day. We made 150 for school, church and home and I have never heard so many rave reviews from so many different people. We used chocolate almond bark which is much cheaper and it turned out great. The only thing to know is that this should not be a last minute thing. It takes awhile to dip and drip all those yummy marshmallows! We also used all kinds of Valentines sprinkles and surprisingly the cinnamon ones were a favorite of everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I make these for every holiday & get-together. I make these for every holiday & get-together. Christmas I dip in red or green colored white chocolate & roll in coconut. I also like chocolate marshmallows rolled in graham cracker crumbs. Play with this recipe alot. Choose different colors of chocolate/white chocolate/peanut butter chocolate. Vary your topings. This is a fun & delicious dessert.

I happened to acquire a pack of chocolate marshmallows when my mother-in-law died this year. I dipped them in chocolate , on a whim. They were wonderful! I tried to make more but couldn't find anymore of these marshmallows. They were made by Kraft but apparently are seasonal(I emailed them) I wonder what season....they weren't around at Christmas.

We put the marshmellows on a wooded skewer before dipping them in the chocolate then before they dry the kids dipped them in nuts, sprinkles, toasted coconut or crushed oreos. Afterwards, they can be stuck in a piece of foam in a flower pot or into an apple and used as a center piece. A real family favorite!

My husband loves chocolate covered marshmallows, so when I saw this recepie I had to try it. He/we loved it! It didn't have that "old/stale" taste like the store bought ones. Since I like cherries, I topped it with some halved maraschino's and dipped it in the cherry sauce...OOhhh soooo goooood!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everyone enjoyed these truffles. Everyone enjoyed these truffles. We used a toothpick in the marshmallow so we could roll in crushed nuts rather than just a sprinkle on top. We also varied the recipe by replacing the nuts with crushed graham crackers and rolling them in the graham crackers for a smore like desert.
