  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Reserve 1/4 cup of the steak sauce. Mix remaining 1/4 cup steak sauce with all remaining ingredients until well blended.
  • Shape into 9x5-inch loaf in greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake 1 hour. Brush with reserved steak sauce; bake an additional 15 minutes or until meatloaf is cooked through. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into 8 slices to serve.

Substitute

Prepare as directed, using lean ground turkey or leaner cuts of ground beef, such as ground round or ground sirloin.

Keeping it Safe

Be sure to thaw frozen ground beef safely. Keep meat wrapped and thaw on bottom shelf of refrigerator, not on countertop.

Special Extra

Prepare meatloaf as directed; cool, then slice. Wrap individual portions in foil. Label, date and place in freezer-weight resealable plastic bags. When ready to serve, unwrap and microwave until heated through (160°F).

Speedy Mini Meatloaves

Prepare as directed, shaping meat mixture into 8 (4x2-1/2-inch) loaves. Place in greased or foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake 30 minutes or until meatloaf is cooked through. Makes 8 servings, 1 loaf each.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My family loves meatloaf, this recipe was a big hit. My family loves meatloaf, this recipe was a big hit. I left out the green peppers, just because my family doesn't like them. I also didn't put A-1 sauce on top, but used a homestyle gravy instead. The A-1 gave it good flavor in the meatloaf, however I think it would have been to much on top as well. I will make this again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from was looking for a different spin on meatloaf. was looking for a different spin on meatloaf. Came across this with steak sauce, yum. I made mainly as instructed, but love the veggies so added a little bit more chopped onion and green pepper. I also added about a cup of sharp cheddar cheese in the mix. Turned it marvelous. Will definitely make again.

I had no leftovers. I didn't make this recipe with the pepper, instead I used 1/2 pack of dry onion soup mix and no regular onion. Very good and tasty. Will make this recipe again. Finally, I can make a good meatloaf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I didn't quite make this exact recipe, but the ingredients are the same. I didn't quite make this exact recipe, but the ingredients are the same. My father's recipe uses ground pork along with the ground beef. It adds great flavor and it actually binds the loaf together. Use half of what you were going to use with the beef, and the rest pork. It's amazing!! :)

We followed the recipe to the T, and even brushed a little extra A-1 on top. My husband and his friends are asking me when I plan to make it again. It was very good!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I would make again, but with some modifications. I would make again, but with some modifications. Not nearly as many onions. It really turned my kids off of this. Also, I didn't cut the bell pepper up small enough I guess which didn't help matters either! Otherwise it was meatloaf!

I am newly married and I do not have my mom's recipe yet so I made this one and my husband LOVES it. He already wants me to make it again next week. I think the A1 was perfect but I only put a 1/4 cup into the mixture and not on top.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As a single person, I divided the recipe in half. As a single person, I divided the recipe in half. It worked great! As a way of portion control I put it in muffin tins. Cut the baking time to 1/2 hour, or if your oven is tempermental like mine use an instant read thermometer.
