This was so easy and it tasted really good. It had the consistency of a quiche or possibly a souffle or custard probably because of the egg. I did cook it longer than the recipe called for. Very cheesy.
This recipe was easy and I already had the ingredients in my cupboard. my grandkids raved about it over and over and they ate so much their stomach hurt. Music to this Grandmas ears.
My picky eaters loved this. This is the only mac and cheese I have gotten them to eat that wasn't out of a box! I did look at others reviews and change thing in the recipe accordingly. I doubled the cheese and the egg and added an extra cup of milk. I pre-made this in the morning baked for 15 to get the cheese melted and mixed so noodles wouldn't dry out, I covered and placed in refrigerator then baked (it took the full 30 min to heat through). This dish turned out awesome! I made 2 13x9 pans and after baking froze 1 so I'm excited to see how it does!
