What You Need

1-1/2

lb. sweet potatoes (about 5), peeled, quartered

1/2

cup finely chopped onions

Tbsp. KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing

1/2

cup BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream

Tbsp. brown sugar

Make It

COOK potatoes in boiling water in large saucepan 10 min. or until tender. Remove potatoes from saucepan; drain.

COOK and stir onions in dressing in same saucepan on medium-high heat 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Add potatoes; mash lightly.

ADD remaining ingredients; cook on medium heat until heated through, stirring occasionally.

Special Extra

For a special treat, spoon sweet potato mixture into 1-1/2-qt. ovenproof casserole. Bake 20 min. Top with 1 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows; bake an additional 10 min. or until golden.

Substitute

Prepare using KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing and BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream.

Substitute

Garnish with a light sprinkling of ground cinnamon just before serving.

Really? I would never ever make this recipe again! This recipe was beyond awful my family thought they were okay, but wish for me not to make them again. They have nothing to worry about! These were probably the worst potatoes ever do not add the ONIONS! If it were possible to give no stars I would have. These potatoes are lucky they are getting such a nice review they were atroshish!

Great way to fix sweet potatoes. They are so cheap this time of year and I love to find new ways to cook them. I added a little salt to mine, but they were great either way.

Going to make it for Thanksgiving, sounds wonderful. Don't like sugar and marshmallows, etc. joerho

It went in the trash. Did not have a good flavor or texture and I like baked sweet potatoes. I Did not like the onions or dressing. A whole lot of wasted time and orange mess. I will stick to my garlic red skin mashed potatoes from now on.

I was very nervous after reading the responses about the onion, but went ahead and made it per the recipe. It was AWESOME!! I got compliments from everyone and all ate it up.
