Light dressing and reduced fat sour cream make these Mashed Sweet Potatoes a better-for-you choice. Not to worry—there's a bit o' brown sugar in there too!

What You Need

1-1/2
lb.   sweet potatoes (about 5), peeled, quartered
1/2
cup  finely chopped onions
2
Tbsp.  KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing
1/2
cup  BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream
1
Tbsp.  brown sugar

Make It

COOK potatoes in boiling water in large saucepan 10 min. or until tender. Remove potatoes from saucepan; drain.

COOK and stir onions in dressing in same saucepan on medium-high heat 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Add potatoes; mash lightly.

ADD remaining ingredients; cook on medium heat until heated through, stirring occasionally.

Special Extra
For a special treat, spoon sweet potato mixture into 1-1/2-qt. ovenproof casserole. Bake 20 min. Top with 1 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows; bake an additional 10 min. or until golden.
Substitute
Prepare using KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing and BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream.
Substitute
Garnish with a light sprinkling of ground cinnamon just before serving.
