So that's what I did. I added some italian seasoning, salt, pepper, egg and chopped onions to my meatballs prior to coating them w/ flour and frying them. I also sprinkled a little parmesean cheese on top of the spagetti sauce and mozzerella cheese. These were really really good. My husband wouldn't shut up about them. He's usually pretty quiet when he eats because he was taught that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. I'll definitely be making these again. They were so easy to throw together too.

My husband made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner the other night and I made this sandwich with the leftovers last night. I used ciabatta bread instead of the subs. It was really delicious.

He says they're better than the ones you get at the sandwich shop on the corner. To add a little spunk we like to add sliced banana peppers with a little extra sauce. The Great thing, it is so easy and take hardly any time to cook and prepare. Great recipe. We will have it again for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I just got finished eating mine! I just got finished eating mine! Absoulutly fantastic!! I used turkey meatballs (being health-concious) and my very un-healthconcious mother who hates "healthy" food didn't notice!. She loved hers! I put the rolls in the oven 10 minutes while the meatballs(turkey balls in my case)and sauce were on the stove. The bread was crispy and everything was quick and filling!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These were suprisingly supurb. These were suprisingly supurb. Im sure the sauce makes a differance, My wife liked them better than subway's meatball sub and my girls gobbled them down. I also split the rolls and toasted them with some butter which gave them a nice crunch otherwise im sure they would have been soggy pretty quickly. Definatly will be making these again SOON !!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I tried this recipe once. I tried this recipe once. It was good but premade meatballs are so expensive at the store. Then I got a tip from the kraft message board to use your left over meatloaf in place of the meatballs! Great way to use left overs and tastier than the original recipe! Either way you prefer, kids love it. Happy Eating....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I doubled this recipe when my 2 sisters brought their kids to spend the night. I doubled this recipe when my 2 sisters brought their kids to spend the night. We used hot dog buns instead of hoagie rolls to keep more of the sauce inside the sub. All 4 kids enjoyed adding their own toppings of onions, olives, bell peppers & different cheese blends. Even us adults loved this recipe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I would make this again if I was in a hurry and didn't have anything on my mind already. I would make this again if I was in a hurry and didn't have anything on my mind already. It needs more sauce, what it gives in the recipe is enough to cover the meatballs but when you put it on the sandwich I love to have sauce on the bread as well. None the less it was tasty and a hit with my husband!
