Store bought pound cake makes this "show-stopper" castle cake quick & easy!

What You Need

cup cold milk

pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

pkg. (10 oz. each) prepared pound cake

chocolate flavored sugar cones

HONEY MAID Grahams Chocolate Sticks

OREO Cookie

piece black licorice (4-inch)

jar (1.75 oz.) chocolate flavored sprinkles

chewy fruit snack roll

drops blue food coloring

Make It

POUR milk into bowl; add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. Remove 1/2 cup of the whipped topping; set aside. Gently stir remaining whipped topping into pudding mixture. Refrigerate 15 min. until mixture thickens.

SLICE 1 cake in half horizontally. Place bottom cake half on platter. Spread about 1 inch thick with pudding mixture; top with second cake half. Frost ends with pudding mixture. Cut second cake in half vertically; stand on end on each side of main section. Frost entire cake with pudding mixture.

CUT off cone tips; place in center of each tower. Decorate top of cake with graham sticks, cut in half, cookie, licorice and additional whole graham sticks. Cover top of castle with sprinkles. Cut thin triangles out of fruit roll; create "flags" by rolling one side of triangle tightly around toothpick. Place "flags" into cone tips.

TINT reserved 1/2 cup whipped topping with food coloring. Spread around base of cake to resemble water. Sprinkle additional crushed cookies around moat to resemble soil or a road.

Substitute

For a Princess Castle Cake, use JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding, color frosting pink and cover cones with pastel colored sprinkles. Use additional pastel candies for decorations.

AWWWW HOW CUTE:)I BET YOU COULD USE VANILLA PUDDING AND PUT FOOD COLORING TO CHANGE THE COLOR.I THINK THIS IS GOING TO BE MY NEXT COOKING PROJECT.

I made this for my daughters princess party, it was a hit. It was really easy to make and looked great. I made some cupcakes as well, not thinking that it would taste that good, but everyone loved it.

This cake would be good for the child who loves the Chronicles of Narnia and chocolate. My daughter wanted a castle cake and I think that she will love this one!
