  • Place pita halves in single layer on baking sheet. Bake 4 to 5 min. on each side or until crisp and lightly browned on both sides. Cool.
  • Combine next 6 ingredients in large bowl.
  • Crumble pitas over salad. Mix dressing and lemon juice. Add to salad; toss to coat.

    This salad is so refreshing, great for a summers day lunch. A great addition would be either feta or fresh mozzarella cheese. I lightened it up a bit by using fat free zesty Italian dressing.

    This was very good and easy to make. I added some kalamata olives and feta cheese and seasoned with salt and pepper. No leftovers!
