These meatballs are just ok. I used beef, doubled the oregano and the garlic and they still didn't have much of a flavor. I did like the hint of green olive flavor and will make them again but with a lot more spice.
I am not a fan of green olives and was hesitant to try this recipe but what a wonderful surprise. These meatballs are great and so good with couscous. I would never have thought of using the two togther. My husband has to closely watch his vitamin K intake but this fit perfectly in his diet. Please give this recipe a try you will like it. Oh, makes lots so I froze some for later use and they reheated perfectly.
My husband says 10 1/2 stars! This recipe is absolutely delicious! I am very happy with how it came out! :)
