Make It

Tap or click steps to mark as complete

  • Mix cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended.
  • Shape into 48 (1-inch) balls; place in single layer in shallow pan. Freeze 10 min. Dip balls in chocolate; place in shallow waxed paper-lined pan, allowing excess chocolate to pool at bottom of each ball. Decorate with remaining ingredients to resemble snowmen.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Keep refrigerated.

Note from the Kraft Kitchens

Thank you. We heard your feedback and adjusted the recipe ingredients to improve the appearance of these snowmen. Thank you for your input.

Size Wise

These seasonal cookie balls have built-in portion control and can be enjoyed on occasion.

How to Easily Dip Balls

To easily coat balls with the melted chocolate, add balls, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use 2 forks to roll balls in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove balls with forks, letting excess chocolate drip back into bowl. Place balls in prepared pan; let stand until firm.

Variation

Sprinkle cookie balls with colored sugar or sprinkles instead of decorating with the Mini OREO Cookies and decorating icing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from when you add the peanut butter it changes the color and the chocolate is not white! when you add the peanut butter it changes the color and the chocolate is not white!!I omitted the peanut butter and just dipped them in melted white chocolate. otherwise they are delicious. <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Wendy ~ Thank you for letting us know the problem with the color of the chocolate mixture. The peanut butter was not supposed to be in this recipe. We are working on removing it. We appreciate you taking the time to post this comment. >>>

I just wanted to let everyone know that adding the peanut butter to the white chocolate coating tastes delicious! I know it turns the colour to an off-white but if you add white food colouring to the chocolate it will turn white again! SO......you don't have to alter the recipe by omitting the PB. You can buy white food colouring at Michael's in the cake baking section. It's made by Wilton. A few drops goes a long way! Great recipe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I thought these turned out great! I thought these turned out great! I made the melting snowmen with the oreo truffle recipe and made the nutter butter one with milk chocolate instead of white. Both taste great! The snowmen look so cute! The only problem I had was some oreo specs in the white chocolate for only about the last 3-4 balls. But you can't even see it in the final product.

I was exacted to make these and they look fairly simple, but the white chocolate did not pool like it looks in the picture. Then, I bought the small tubes of decorator gel but when it came out, it was still to much to make the little lips, nose and eyes. I finally just gave up and tossed the whole batch. Never again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not to beat a dead horse, but even w/out the peanut butter they're still not as white as the picture... Not to beat a dead horse, but even w/out the peanut butter they're still not as white as the picture (at least mine weren't). Regardless, they taste fantastic. Very rich, great combination, if you like the taste of chocolate and peanut butter you'll love this. Fairly simple to make too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from so I have an issue if white chocolate gets too hot it doesn't work. so I have an issue if white chocolate gets too hot it doesn't work. so I got less then half done. and it didn't make as many as recipe said. these are really yummy anyways. I dipped some in dark chocolate and made them look like penguins. just not as melting as they looked either.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I agree the white chocolate was more beige than white and I didn't like that. I agree the white chocolate was more beige than white and I didn't like that. So I used white almond bark and it worked and tasted great, though my family liked the oreo much better than the nutter butter. I won't make those again but will the oreos and possibly try another type.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was fun to make. This was fun to make. Of course my faces didn't turn out as good as the picture but cute still the same. I used half as much Nutter Butter cookies because I'm not a big peanut butter fan. The grandkids loved them. I also used mini Rollo's for the hats.
