I've made this recipe for quite a few years. When my kids were at home, they LOVED it. My grandkids love it now, as well. I always have to at least double the recipe.
This was pretty good... I was a little hesitant about the BBQ sauce at first, but to us, it really was not that noticeable in the finished dish - I would suggest serving extra BBQ sauce on the side for those who would like more BBQ flavor... I used the quick cooking bacon, and added the green onions and also some shredded cheddar cheese...
I used green peppers instead of onions. I'd cut the BBQ sauce in half, it was a little strong for my liking. Memphis style was really hard to find for me, it took 3 grocery stores to get it.
