  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Brown meat with onions and garlic in large skillet; drain. Return meat mixture to skillet.
  • Combine cheese, coating mix and Dry Rub. Add half the cheese mixture to meat mixture along with the mixed vegetables and tomato sauce; stir. Cook 5 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently.
  • Spoon into 2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; cover with potatoes. Top with remaining cheese mixture.
  • Bake 20 min. or until heated through.


Save 90 calories and 8g of total fat, including 3g of sat fat, per serving by preparing with ground turkey breast.

    Wasnt too impressed. thought the top would be more crusted but it didnt really come out the way i hoped. the mesquite mixture did give it a different flavor that was pretty good. ill probably stick with the kraft foods updated shepherds pie recipe.
