  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Brown meat with onions and peppers in large skillet on medium-high heat. Stir in chili powder; cook 1 min. Add salsa and corn; mix well. Simmer 5 min.
  • Spread 1 cup meat sauce onto bottom of 8- or 9-inch square baking dish; top with layers of 1 tortilla, 1/2 cup meat sauce, sour cream and 1/4 cup cheese. Cover with second tortilla, 1 cup of the remaining meat sauce and 1/4 cup cheese; top with remaining tortilla and meat sauce. Cover.
  • Bake 25 min. or until heated through. Top with remaining cheese; bake, uncovered, 5 min. or until melted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ok first things first, this recipe was fantastic! Ok first things first, this recipe was fantastic!! Here's the changes I made. I used the remainders of a green, red and yellow bell pepper I had. To the meat mixture I added my own "taco seasoning" with what I had in the cupboard (the chili powder, ground cumin, onion, garlic, red pepper, oregano and a dash of salt). I also used flour tortillas because that is what I had. My tortillas were a bit soggy but what do expect piling on that much meat, salsa, etc...?? It still tasted absolutely AMAZING!! Oh and my boyfriend and I just added the sour cream to the top. Will definitely be making this again and again =)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was AWESOME! This was AWESOME! I did replace the green peppers with red peppers since that is what I had on hand. I was afraid it would be a bit spicy but it wasn't at all! I also chose to leave the sour cream out and put it on top when served. I did this in hopes that the shells wouldn't be "soggy" like many reviewers said. The shells were still "moist" but I wouldn't say "soggy." My 1 year old even loved this dish!

I put tortillas on the bottom as well so it comes out easier, omit the SC, GP,chili powder, and onion then added black beans and spinach. I used taco seasoning with the meat and medium salsa. It makes a great gluten free recipe with corn tortillas!

My family loved this recipe, though I personally thought there was to much corn but that is no big deal will just put less next time. I made it though with corn tortillas and regular sour cream since that is what I had in the house. Since I used corn tortillas there was 9 little tortillas instead of 3 8-inch wheat ones.

The one thing that I did different is added some taco seasoning to the hamburger. Another thing that might be good in this would be a can of beans. I did not put the beans in but it would add a lot to the recipe. Thank you for this recipe my kids loved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this last week! Made this last week! Delicious...I added 1/2 pkg. taco seasoning instead of the chili powder, added only 1/2 the corn, then added 1/2 can black beans. Yummy...will make it again this weekend while we are camping. We added extra sour cream, salsa and avocados on top. Mmmm good! Four generous servings!

I substituted homemade Pica De Gala instead of the onion and green pepper, and I also used Taco Bell Taco Seasoning instead of the chili powder because this was what I had on hand. I adjusted the calorie and carb intake (which was almost nothing) from the packages. It was great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy recipe. Very easy recipe. I did add more seasoning to it because it tasted bland to me. I added more chili powder, paprika, chipotle and a little bit of cayenne.I also used jalapeno cilantro tortilla and mango peach salsa, and it came out scrumptious! I will definitely make it again!
