What You Need

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

tsp. ground cumin

green pepper, chopped

cups TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa

oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed

can (15 oz.) no-salt-added black beans, rinsed

tomato, chopped

whole wheat tortillas (6 inch)

cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

COOK and stir chicken and cumin in nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat 2 min. Add peppers; cook 2 min., stirring occasionally. Stir in salsa; cook 2 min. Add Neufchatel; cook 2 min. or until melted. Stir in beans and tomatoes.

SPREAD 1/3 of the chicken mixture onto bottom of 8-inch square baking dish; cover with 1 tortilla and half each of the remaining chicken mixture and shredded cheese. Top with remaining tortilla and chicken mixture; cover.

BAKE 20 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese; bake, uncovered, 5 min. or until melted.

Although this recipe does not present well aesthetically, the taste is creamy and delicious without being too rich so I gave it a four stars due to appearance. I used boneless skinless chicken tenderloin and shredded it after cooking instead of cubing, it was worth the effort.

added a couple of twist 2 mine ! only 1 layer of tortillas then on top crumbled white corn chips-- also added a can of whole kernel corn--while simmering sprinkled a little chili powder 4 extra heat/spice

Oh WOW!!!!!! All I can say is this dish was AWESOME everyone loved it had 2 plates a piece so that says something....Only thing I did different was I used diced up tomatoes with green chilies and also added some onion to the bell pepper It turned out great....Thank you Kraft I love this website so far

Delicious!! I usually have leftovers, but my casserole dish was EMPTY. My husband and kids absolutely loved it. I will make this again. But I double the recipe.

This will be really good once i do a little adjusting. The flavor is great and really easy, but I am not sure about the texture with the tortillas being kind of soggy. I will make again.

My daughter made this for supper tonight. Was very good. She did tweek the recipe some though. Instead of the green pepper she used lil sweeties (red, yellow, orange peppers) and only used 1/2 can of black beans and used 1/2 kidney beans. Would definately make it again!
