Mexican Turkey Dinner

I used chicken instead of turkey because I personally don't like turkey. This recipe is delicious. Both my husband and sister-in-law loved it as well.

pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner

cups chopped cooked turkey

1/2

cup TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa

large tomato, chopped

Make It

COOK Macaroni as directed on package; drain. Return to saucepan.

STIR in Cheese Sauce and remaining ingredients. Cook on medium-low heat 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

the turkey was bland if i make it again ill use chicken or beef.

i was looking for something quick and easy, with the ingredients that I had on hand. Whipped this recipe up very quickly. I didn't have salsa, but did have taco seasoning it worked very well. This was a very tasty dish! My husband loved it, and he thinks I can't cook? Huh, I showed him!

K-D deluxe is great even better with chicken

My husband loves macaroni & cheese and mexican food. He is not too thrilled with turkey but the ingredients in this recipe really overpowered the turkey and he loved it. We topped with sliced black olives, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream. Yummy!!
