  • Reserve 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. Mix remaining barbecue sauce with remaining ingredients just until blended.
  • Shape into loaf in 9-inch square microwavable dish; top with reserved barbecue sauce. Cover loosely with waxed paper.
  • Microwave on HIGH 12 to 14 min. or until done (165°F), turning dish after 7 min. Let stand 5 min. before slicing to serve.

Use Your Oven

Prepare meatloaf as directed except for microwaving. Do not cover with waxed paper. Bake in 375°F oven 40 to 45 min. or until done (165ºF).

Substitute

Prepare using KRAFT Thick & Spicy Barbecue Sauce.

Special Extra

Prepare meatloaf as directed; cool, then slice. Wrap individual portions in foil. Label, date and place in freezer-weight resealable plastic bags. When ready to serve, unwrap and microwave until heated through (160°F).

Used oven method and ketchup in mix with barbeque sauce poured on top of loaf. Served with sweetened stewed tomatoes. Delicious!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Family loved it. Family loved it. I used the supermarket's combo meat pkg specifically for making meatloaf rather than straight ground beef. Was juicy/moist. Make sure green pepper is 'minced' or it won't be cooked enough.

I would recommend making meatloaf in a ring shape as it cooks more evenly and would only take 10-11 minutes to cook.
