Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed this recipe. I really enjoyed this recipe. I opted for larger amounts of veggies and I added a cup more of water, also I opted for fat free milk to help cut the calories. I too found it lacking a little in the flavor dept. so I sprinkled a little garlic powder in it....that's just what it needed. Next time rather then using a can of cream style corn I am going to try just using a can of corn....this too will help cut the calories and....it will make the soup a little more heartier.

I doubled the recipe and added smoked sausage thinking my family would love this recipe but they didn't love it as much as I thought they would and I had to throw the leftovers away. I will make this again it was good I just won't double the recipe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 10 min. 10 min. was not enough for the vegetables to cook all the way through. other than that, the flavor was great and we would have rated it higher. next time I will let the vegetables boil for a minimum of 20 minutes or so and make sure they are done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe was wonderful! This recipe was wonderful!! My family loved it and already wants me to make it again. I doubled the recipe and only still used one can of cream corn and one regular corn. I also used chicken boullian instead of the salt and that made it perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Found the creamed corn flavor overpowering. Found the creamed corn flavor overpowering. Otherwise the chowder wasn't bad, just boring to taste. Very easy to make and the ingredients are staples around our house. Maybe less corn and more of the other veggies would balance the flavor.
