They were pretty good, but I think would have been better if I had used a good brand of crescent rolls. I used a store brand and it was not as good as I hoped. It tasted overly buttery. Next time I make these I plan to try some with a name brand package of crescent rolls, and some with name brand biscuits (which is what my friend does). We'll see which is better. PS I liked them better without cheese (I did half of them with and half of them without), even though I love cheese.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't keep these on the table at a recent get together. Couldn't keep these on the table at a recent get together. I made a few modifications. I used turkey dogs (the kind with the cheese in them) and reduced fat crescent rolls. I skipped the kraft single. They were fabulous (and not quite as bad for you)!

I took them to an evening picnic where they got cold quickly. I think they would have been better if they were hot. They were still eaten, though, and I did get a compliment.
