It was great to see one of favorite childhood recipes that I made with Mom over 35 years ago. I still make it today when I feel like something quick and easy (so does Mom and she's 84). It's quick, easy and affordable! I still like to use the english muffin so the sauce can get into the nooks and crannies (now that's dating me!!) I don't like parmesan cheese, so I leave that out. I've also used crumbled feta or goat cheese. Very good, as well. It's good to use the toaster oven to pre-toast the bottom of the muffin, otherwise it will get soggy once the the sauce is on it if you use the oven (thanks, Mom). Keep it crunchy. Thanks for bringing it back! Now I know what's for dinner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have been making a version of this for over 15 years that I call bagel pizza. I have been making a version of this for over 15 years that I call bagel pizza. I take the bagel-plain, everything, or sesame and put spaghetti sauce on it (I always have this on hand) and whatever chesse-mozzerella, chedar or even jack chesse is good and it I have onion or pepper is good too. My husband loves this and it makes for an easy supper if you don't have any frozen pizza at home or want go out to get one. I make it for lunch too. YUMMY!!

Actually I had the invited guests make their own pizzas the way they wanted to. They had a great time doing it, plus it took a some of the time up so I didn't have to come up with more games and things to keep 10 very active boys active. They loved the idea that they could make their own dinner the wanted it. I would suggest this recipie to everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is quite funny, because I've made this for fifteen years! This is quite funny, because I've made this for fifteen years! I came up with the idea in desperation one night and used what was on the shelf. Both daughters love d it, as did the 4-H judge at the county fair! Make your own sauce to save money. Use whatever meat you have leftover-cooked beef, chicken, bacon. Or add cooked veggies. Easy to make in toaster oven. Fun for parties-let guests make their own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a very good recipe for kids and also as appetizers for company. This is a very good recipe for kids and also as appetizers for company. Another way to do it is to use the biscuit dough that you get in the tube. You just separate the biscuits on a cookie sheet and flatten them a little bit and add the sauce and toppings. They really look just like mini pizzas and taste just like it too.
