I took this recipe and turned it on its head, so my rating may not be entirely accurate. What I made tasted good, though, and was very popular with adults as well as kids. The biscuit part was the same, but I changed the filling. I doubled the batch and made half with buttermilk biscuits filled with crumbled cooked bacon and finely scrambled eggs. The other half I made with butter flavored biscuits and filled with turkey (deli meat) and a piece of American cheese. I turned them all upside down as recommended by other reviewers and I only had one minor cheese leak. I put a small piece of cheese or bacon on top for "labeling" as well. Delicious!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very popular when I made it. This was very popular when I made it. I left out the BBQ sauce and only sprinkled a little cheese inside. Also, like others, I had to place the seam down to keep it closed to bake. I sprinkled just a little cheese on top for looks and presentation. Also, they second time I made them, I halved the biscuits. They were a little too much bread for me and my mom otherwise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made this recipe for a potluck snack and it was a hit. Made this recipe for a potluck snack and it was a hit. I made some modifications and used Lil Smokies instead. Also, I rolled out the biscuits with a rolling pin. And put the "seam side" down so it would not open.... It did not look like the ones in the pictures, but still looked good and got compliments. Teen-agers really liked it.

My kids didn't care for the bbq sauce, but I made them again with sausage and cheese inside and also ham and cheese inside another time. They are a big hit now! I also sometimes use croissant rolls if that is what I have in the fridge. Use a fork to "pinch" the biscuits close...it seems to work much better for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am enjoying this site and I thank kraft foods for offering it. I am enjoying this site and I thank kraft foods for offering it. I made this recipe and found that the biscuits didn't really stay closed (even though I 'pintched' them). My family and I found that we enjoyed the taste with cheese better than without. It's an easy recipe and will probably make it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very good, most did not stay closed, as noted in the other reviews. Very good, most did not stay closed, as noted in the other reviews. I used turkey sausage and sprinkled a little garlic salt to add flavor. I think these are a good on-the-good breakfast sandwich and signficantly lower in fat & cholesterol than a breakfast sandwich @ McDonalds. I will make these again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My family loved these. My family loved these. I only put shredded cheese in with them since I didn't have bbq sauce. I made them Halloween night for a fast travelling dinner. They loved them and asked me to make them again. I turned the seam side down and the looked like little turtles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I tried using bulk sausage for this. I tried using bulk sausage for this. I cooked it, then took the large pieces and wrapped them in the biscuits. This is also a quick and easy recipe that I will make again. Great for breakfast during the week when trying to get my kids and my mom out the door.
